Louisville's Business First  honored ACCENT InterMedia as the winner in the Emerging Business category in the fifth annual Business of the Year Awards. The Eagle Award presentation was made during a dinner gala on Tuesday, December 9th at the Kentucky International Convention Center.

In the Emerging Business category, companies less than 3 years old were asked to show financial growth, strategic plans, corporate achievements and projected growth in years to come.

Chief Executive Officer, Tim Clark, accepted the award on the company’s behalf.   “It is a true honor to be selected for such a prestigious award,” Clark stated.   “I’m proud of our team and thankful for the support of our partners and clients.

According to Don Swanberg, manager for in-store experience for the supermarket giant SuperValue and current ACCENT client, ACCENT can turn on a dime.  “ACCENT InterMedia gives us the ability to completely customize our gift card business.  When I make a last minute request on Sept. 30 and say I need a new solution by Oct. 13, they’re pretty nimble at being able to do that.”

There were over 200 company nominees for the Business of the Year recognition.
